Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: NJP – IXB – Gangtok
Welcome Greetings from Swati Tours & Travels!!!
Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP/Bagdogra & transfer to Gangtok.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Excursion – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400-ft.) & Baba Mandir.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Gangtok – Lachung
After breakfast pick up at 0900 A.M from Hotel at Gangtok & transfer to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft). Enroute visit Tashi view point, Phodong Monastery, lunch at Phodong. Overnight stay at hotel..
Day 04: Excursion – Yumthnag Excursion
Early Morning visit Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. Spent afternoon interacting with the local people taking the idea of their simple lifestyle.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Lachung – Gangtok
After breakfast departure (8.00 am,) for the Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Gangtok – Darjeeling
After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and cottage industry. Back to Hotel for lunch & transfer to Darjeeling. Arrive Darjeeling transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Darjeeling
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ] Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Back to hotel for lunch .Evening free for leisure.
O/N stay at hotel.
Day 08: Darjeeling – NJP – IXB
Morning free for packing & transfer to NJP Station or Bagdogra airport for return journey.
