The safari takes us south through the rift valley to Maasai Mara where the largest concentration of game in Kenya is to be found. Then back north to the remote Lakes Bogoria and Baringo, a bird watchers and naturalists paradise.
DAY 1 NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA.
0930hrs. Depart from our office for a journey south along the floor of the great rift valley lunch served en route, then pass Narok, climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country Serengeti plains. Arrive late afternoon in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at the campsite or Lodge.
DAY 2 MAASAI MARA
Full day in search of elephants, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plains game. All meals overnight at the campsite/ Lodge.
DAY 3 MAASAI MARA
Full day game viewing, with an option of a nature walk, visiting the Maasai village or relaxing at the swimming pool. Meals and overnight at the camp/ lodge
DAY 4 MAASAI MARA-NAKURU
After breakfast leave camp for Lake Nakuru picnic lunch en route at the safari junction. After lunch proceed to Lake Elementaita stopping for a panoramic and scenery viewing. You will arrive in Nakuru later in the afternoon dinner and overnight in the camp or lodge.
DAY 5 NAKURU – LAKES BOGORIA AND BARINGO
After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria. With picnic lunch, explore on foot these naturalist lakes and view flamingos in their thousands. Caution must be taken while walking near hot springs as they are super hot. Return to Nakuru for dinner and overnight in your hotel or camp.
DAY 6 LAKE NAKURU PARK NAIROBI
0630Hrs. Game drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park, which is renowned for its large variety of birds. Besides birds for which is world famous, it is possible to see other game such as waterbuck, impala, buffalo, gazelle in the surrounding gardens. Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast return to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
