Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival NJP – IXB – Kalimpong
Welcome Greetings from Swati Tours & Travels!!!
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Kalimpong (75 kms / 3hrs).
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Kalimpong – Gangtok
After breakfast, visit Dello hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries & then transfer to Gangtok (85 Kms / 3Hrs). Check in overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Gangtok
A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (departure in the morning) - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Gangtok – Lachung
Pick up from Gangtok hotel and transfer to Lachung (117 kms / 05 1/2 hrs). Lunch enroute. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Lachung – Yumthang & Back Lachung
Take an excursion to Yumthang (24 kms / 1.5 hrs). Overnight stay at Resort.
Day 06: Lachung – Gangtok
Transfer to Gangtok. On the way, see mighty Kanchendzonga from Singhik (subjected to good weather condition) and visit Phodang Monastery. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : Gangtok To Darjeeling
Transfer to Darjeeling (115 kms / 04 hrs). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Darjeeling
Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Afternoon, go for a half-day sight seeing tour of Padwaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Darjeeling – Mirik
After breakfast transfer to Mirik Lake an excellent picnic spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft., it is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake; orange orchards, cardamom plantations and tea estates enhance the Surroundings here. Overnight stay at Mirik.
Day 10: Mirik – NJP – IXB
Transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, (100 Kms / 3 Hrs) for onwards connection.- Tour Ends.
