Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: NJP – IXB – Gangtok
Welcome Greetings from Swati Tours & Travels!!!
Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP/Bagdogra & transfer to Gangtok.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Excursion – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400-ft.) & Baba Mandir.
O/n Halt.
Day 03: Gangtok – Lachung
After breakfast pick up at 0900 A.M from Hotel at Gangtok & transfer to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft).
Enroute visit Tashi view point, Phodong Monastery, lunch at Phodong.
Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 04: Lachung – Yumthnag Valley & Back
Early Morning visit Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch.
Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 05: Lachung – Gangtok
After breakfast departure (9.00 am,) for the Gangtok en - route witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls.
O/n Halt at Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok – Pelling
After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and cottage industry .Later transfer to Pelling via Temi Tea Garden (only tea garden in state) & the Gurupadmasambhava statue. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Pelling
After breakfast start for full day sight
Seeing which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls, and Kanchenjunga falls. Darap Village and Changey Falls.
After visit return to hotel , Evening free.
O/n halt at hotel.
Day 08: Pelling – Darjeeling.
After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling.
O/N Halt at Darjeeling.
Day 09: Darjeeling
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountainerring Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetean Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Back to Hotel for lunch .Evening free for leisure O/n Halt
Day 10: Darjeeling – Mirik
After breakfast transfer to Mirik Lake an excellent picnic spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft., it is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake; orange orchards, cardamom plantations and tea estates enhance the Surroundings here.
Overnight stay at Mirik.
Day 11: Mirik – NJP – IXB
Transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport, (100 Kms / 3 Hrs) for onwards connection.
