Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Dibrugarh – Pasighat (approx.80kms. 8hrs. Drive)
On your arrival at the Dibrugarh Airport our company’s representative will Meet, Greet & Assist.
Later drive to Pasighat
On arrival at Pasighat transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Relax for rest of the day.
Evening free at local villages.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Pasighat – Jengging (approx.150kms. 7hrs. Drive)
This Morning post breakfast check-out the hotel, later drive to Jengging.
On arrival at Jengging transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Relax for rest of the day.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Jengging – Tuting (approx.140kms. 8hrs. Drive)
This Morning post breakfast check-out the hotel, later drive to Tuting.
On Arrival at Tuting transfer to the Hotel for Check-in.
Relax for Rest of the day.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Tuting
This Morning post breakfast later drive to explore the Tuting.
Ready for rafts in the afternoon- a comprehensive safety briefing instruction sessions and rescuer procedures.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Raft Tuting - Pango
Class IV Ninguing rapid, Class III rapid at Palsi to reach Pango. Overnight stay at hotel/ Camp .
Day 06: Raft Pango – Rikor
Raft down the Pango rapid and continue to Rikor village to set up Camp above the village. Visit the village. Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 07: Raft Rikor – Bomdo
Big whitewater day. Class IV at Rikor followed by the Zebra Rock rapid following a few kilometer downstream an a bend. Past several rapids followed by a 3 kilometer float till Bomdo.
Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 08 : Raft Bomdo – Yinkeong
A short day on the river. Begin with the huge, Breakfast Rapids, followed by milder ones all the way till the suspension bridge at Yinkeong. Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 09: Raft Yinkeong – Geku
Begin this day with a long technical rapid and lots of smaller rapids. By noon encounter the biggest rapid on the trip. The Karbo Killer at Karko. A good part of the day is spent in the environs of this rapid before we carry on beaching the rafts at Geku. Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 10: Raft Geku – Panging
After Geku, a long float till a big rapid above the 65 Bridge. An easy day with long float sections. Pass several Adi Tribal settlements on the way. First major confluence of the Siang River with the Siyom River after the suspension bridge at Boling. Panging by late afternoon. Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 11: Raft Panging – Yembung
A short day on the river with quick runs to a big rapid at Panging village. Camp above the rapid. Relaxed day. Visit the villages. Overnight stay at Camp.
Day 12: Raft Yembung – Pasighat
Final run to the plains at Pasighat by negotiating the last biggie on the trip at Poning. The Siang gathers a lot more volume approaching Pasighat where we beach for the last time on this trip. Transfer to rest house at Pasighat.
Overnight stay at Rest house/ hotel.
Day 13: Pasighat – Dibrugarh (approx. 80kms. 5hrs. Drive)
Today boat ride to Dibrugarh
Overnight stay at Rest house / hotel.
Day 14: Day 12: Dibrugarh Depart
This Morning post Breakfast check-out the hotel later drive to Dibrugarh Airport for onward Journey.
