Soon as the evening merges into darkness and the stars begin to shine in the sky, the aarti begins. This is the sight to behold. The evening Aarti at Har ki Paudi attracts visitors and pilgrims alike. The conches in the temples and hymns in praise of Goddess Ganga soon fill the air. Just after the Aarti, the diyas come floating into the river and the waters turn golden with the gleams of lamps.

After being part of this mesmerising Aarti ceremony, return to your hotel and unwind.

After you come back, it is time to have a walk through the most happening place in Mussoorie, the Mall. It is a stretch of road, lined with shops and it overlooks the valley. The shops have everything, from handicraft wall hangings to wooden ware and artificial jewelery. There are flea shops selling woolens and young couples romancing hand in hand. And the entire place is lighted up with what is famously called Mussoorie crown lights.

After you have had your share of fun at Mall, then it is time to come back to your hotel, have dinner and retire for the day.
