Welcome Greetings from Swati Tours & Travels!!!
The Delhi Extravaganza Tour will start by 0900 hrs in the morning. Post leisurely breakfast at the Swati Deluxe Hotel’s famous and best vegetarian restaurant “Shudh”; proceed to explore the famous & interesting tourist sites of Delhi.
In Old Delhi
Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by Shah Jehan, the great Mughal Emperor and the founder of the great symbol of Love – “Taj Mahal”; Jama Masjid – the biggest mosque in India; Chandni Chowk – the old commercial centre of Delhi with authentic small and big shops and congested street, small wooden balconies over the streets with homely essence through out the Chandni Chowk area mesmerize every visitor.
Now its time for Lunch, arranged in advance at some nice Restaurants of Delhi. Enjoy your lunch, feel the taste of delicious local food.
In New Delhi
Post lunch proceed to explore “New Delhi” which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing India Gate, Presidential House, Secratariat, Parliament House. Visit the massive, famous and newly built temple Akshardham, the Lotus Temple and later Humanyu’s Tomb & the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India.
